SDF Landgear is part of the CFC group of companies and is an importer/distributor of agricultural machinery throughout Australia and New Zealand. Brands include SAME, Deutz-Fahr and Stoll. SDF Landgear operates from our headquarters in Melbourne, Victoria through a network of over 50 dealers throughout the region.
We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager for our expanding Southern Australian business areas whose primary role will be to enhance sales within existing dealerships as well as develop new dealership sales opportunities.
Reporting to the Product and Marketing Manager, major duties will include:
Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to agreed aims
Maintain and develop existing and new dealers through ethical sales methods
Initiate, plan and support local sales related events and activities
Respond to and follow up on all sales enquiries appropriately
Monitor and report on market issues and competitor activities
Attend relevant training and development as and when requested
Liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business
The right candidate will have:
Proven experience in sales growth and sales management
Ability to achieve sales budgets
A strong product knowledge including those of competitors
Proven experience developing a dealer network
Ability to implement successful marketing plans
A professional approach to work and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times
